In most cases, students testing with extended time must stay the entire amount of time for which they are approved. They cannot leave early or move onto the next test section until the allotted time has passed. This policy might be different from the way your school administers extended time.
For the SAT Suite of Assessments, students approved to test with extended time will also receive extra breaks. This applies to the PSAT 8/9, the PSAT/NMSQT, the PSAT 10, and the SAT (but not to AP Exams).

While establishing a concrete plan may seem daunting, it can pay off in enormous dividends. Everyone gets 24 hours in any given day. Gaining insight into how to spend your time and how you can better allocate it to the tasks that matter most can bring you a greater sense of freedom. Some of the benefits of time management include experiencing less stress, fewer mistakes, more free time and space to pursue new opportunities.

An accrual rate is the amount of vacation hours you will earn each pay. It is determined by your FTE and the benefit designated for your length of service in a benefits eligible position. The amount of vacation available increases with the length of service to the College as shown in the chart below. This chart shows available vacation for an employee working a full-time, 12-month schedule.
Benefit eligible staff (.5 FTE or greater) are eligible for paid sick leave. The annual sick leave benefit for full time employees is nine (9) days with the ability to accrue (earn) a total of 20 days . Part-time staff earn sick leave that is prorated based on their FTE. You begin to earn sick leave immediately and it is immediately available
After you are admitted to HCCC, you may need to take the College Placement Test (CPT) to make sure you sign up for the right classes. This test will also show if you need to take extra classes in reading, writing and mathematics before moving on to college-level classes. Keep in mind that you may not need to take the test if you meet certain guidelines.
The state of New Jersey requires that we ask all students who are enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more) to provide proof of measles, mumps, rubella, and hepatitis B immunizations. All students, regardless if they are full-time or part-time, must provide proof of meningococcal meningitis immunization, unless they are exempt. Students can provide evidence that they are exempt because of the following reasons:
Departments define a designated location where employees clock-in/out when reporting for work. The WTTS assembles each entry into a web-based timesheet. At the end of the pay cycle the information is gathered, approved by the manager, and then electronically imported into PR Assist.
There are various methods used by departments to record and report timesheet data. Many departments find the collection of timesheets a very tedious process, and staff spends an inordinate amount of time collecting the timesheets. ICIT has automated the process by implementing payroll guidelines and offering a faster, more effective way of reporting time.
The first year of the the traditional full-time MBA program provides students with a broad foundation of business knowledge while fostering connections with classmates. Once students complete the core curriculum in Year 1, they concentrate their studies through electives.
The Full-Time MBA STEM-Designated Track is a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) designated program. This classification allows international full-time MBA graduates on an F-1 visa to potentially qualify for an additional 24 months of training in their field of study (called Optional Practical Training or OPT) beyond the standard 12 months.

Students who intend to enter a part-time degree program normally must have completed high school at least two years previously and meet the minimum requirements for admission established for all students in the chosen program. The College welcomes applications from students who wish to transfer from two-year and four-year institutions.
The audit fee for part-time and special students is the prevailing part-time audit rate. All audits must have the approval of the course instructor. Courses that require a high degree of participation (e.g., laboratory courses, studio art classes, and foreign languages emphasizing conversation) normally may not be audited.
Current, full-time Lafayette students are not eligible for the part-time studies program; there is not a pathway for a full-time student to be reclassified as part-time. The light load option is designed for students who seek to enroll less-than-full-time (less than 3 credits) in a fall or spring semester.
Part-time students are limited to no more than two course units per semester and are charged the prevailing part-time per-unit rate. When reaching senior standing, however, the part-time student may take an additional unit in two of the last four semesters at Lafayette. The student will continue to be billed at the part-time rate. Such exceptions must be approved by the director of part-time studies.
A part-time degree candidate wishing to enroll as a full-time student must petition the Academic Progress Committee to change status. Admission on a full-time basis is restricted to those with exemplary academic records and a minimum of five course units taken at Lafayette.
Cross-registration provides the opportunity to take courses not available at the home institution and thus eases the scheduling difficulties sometimes experienced by working adults. A part-time student may enroll in a maximum of two courses through cross-registration for each year of equivalent full-time study. Fees are charged according to the policy of the host institution.
Non-exempt Employees: Full-time non-exempt employees will earn 2.02 vacation hours per week (three weeks per year). On your tenth anniversary, you are eligible to earn 2.70 vacation hours per week (four weeks per year).
Exempt Employees: Full-time exempt employees will earn 11.70 vacation hours per month (four weeks per year). New full-time exempt employees whose date of hire was prior to the fifteenth of the month will receive vacation leave credit for the full month. Full-time exempt employees who are terminating or retiring and who have worked beyond the fifteenth of the month will be credited for the full month for purposes of accruing vacation leave.
If you work less than full time, your paid vacation leave is accrued in direct proportion to the number of hours you are scheduled to work relative to a 35 hour workweek. For example, a non-exempt employee who works 28 hours per week (80% of the 35 hours worked by a full-time employee) will earn paid vacation days at 80% the rate of a full-time non-exempt employee, or 9.36 hours per month.
Scheduling: To help the College ensure adequate staffing, employees should request vacation time as far in advance as possible, but in any case no less than two weeks notice must be given. All requests for vacation time must be approved by the employee's supervisor. The College is not always able to accommodate each request, so it reserves the right to deny requested vacation time to meet the needs of the College.
Full-Year Employee Vacation Carry over: Employees may carry over their annual vacation accrual plus one additional week. For example if you are a full-time, full-year exempt employee, you can carry over up to four weeks plus one additional week (175 hours). For example if you are a full-time, full-year non-exempt employee with less than 10 years of service, you can carry over up to three weeks plus one additional week (140 hours). Carryover is adjusted by scheduled hours per week.
Non-Exempt Employees (weekly): Non-exempt employees accrue prorated vacation hours based on a full-time equivalent of 2.02 hours per week (3 weeks per year). The prorated amount is based on the scheduled hours per week and scheduled weeks per year (also known as the blended fte). Accrual occurs on weekly basis throughout the calendar year.
On the tenth anniversary, non-exempt employees accrue prorated vacation hours based on a full-time equivalent of 2.70 hours vacation per week (4 weeks per year). The prorated amount is based on the scheduled hours per week and scheduled weeks per year.
